Default value for field element.

Hello.
I have a field element, for which I want to set a default value. So I've made this on the element:


I don't know why, but it doesn't work. If I use the same code on a textarea, it works. The database field type is an integer.

Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance.

It won't show the value "1" on the field if is a field element type, but it works if the element it's a textarea...

It's definitivly working with fields.
Do you have special settings on this field element? or something like a form onLoad php?

Yes, it's working now, after a Joomla update... Strange!
