We have now opened a commercial services section here on the forum for registered users. If you have a Fabrik project that you wish to have someone work on for you, post it under Help Wanted. If you are an application developer and wish to earn some money helping others, post your details under Fabrik Application Developers.
Both of these are unmoderated. It will be up to both parties to work out the details and come to an agreement.

Moving on from fabrik?
Please do not quite write off Fabrik yet - some of us are still trying to keep it alive. There are no direct alternatives to Fabrik AFAIK. There is a Joomla extension called Joomla Component Builder which can be used to build applications, but it is much more of a coding tool with much less... -

There are likely to be issues with point 1) above because of the GPL license. I would personally suggest the following: 1. No charge for use of Fabrik for non-commercial projects. Community support by other Fabrik users. Such projects asked to contribute 5%-10% of their development time to... -

Sorry - but it is so long since I used Fabrik that I am no longer certain how to achieve this. I guess it depends on how you are triggering the transaction, but I would probably run it as a cron transaction and run the SQL from some php code and send the email from the same php code.
