backup reactivation problem.

Did you try "can't get it work. Click me"?
Is says ...could not upload...
Maybe
Backup broken
File to big
Security settings of your server

Remember: if the database is not the identical one on your new site you have to open and re-save the Fabrik connection with the new DB settings (but this is only AFTER the restore was successful).

BTW: you can insert screenshots directly into the post

I would try to unpack the jpa locally and check what is in there.

"Same error": So you did try to install it locally?
I thought about unpacking, e.g. with 7zip.
(There used to be an Akeeba "Extract wizard" but I can't find it on their site anymore)

Just a quick throw-in from the sideline:

In case of trouble with unpacking the JPA format locally, create a new Akeeba backup with settings for it to save as ZIP. At least during all dev work, that's the format I use anyway... just in case.

understand @troester .

Problem is, I've already overwritten the backup point. this is the first time I have this kind of problem. I always used JPA and the backup routine always worked without problems :(

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
