Creating custom label for list plug in buttons

I really need to write custom button labels for list plugins, without drop downs. Is there any way to have a custom button label other than the stock icons, in either image or text form?

Which list plugins?
Usually you can define "Button label" and "Button image" in the plugin settings.

Got it, thanks. Missed that. It works now I created a folder as follows:

..../templates/[templatename]/html/com_fabrik/images
