I need to use the element name (not label) as a php placeholder.

In my case, I am using tooltip eval to display a tooltip from a fabrik list...

hi, could you be more precise please I'm not clear what distinction you are making between 'name' and 'label'?

In general place holders are for showing the data saved by the record. You have either what is shown in the list e.g.

{tablename___elementname}

or what is stored in the database (which may or not be the same depending on the element you are using), in this case the syntax is:

{tablename___elementname_raw}
