Error blocking Ajax to work

I have a form that has a calc field that changes with other watched fields. After I updated Fabrik, it doesn't work. AS well as the counter on the textarea doesn't work. I looked at the error in the browser and it say the following:
Uncaught TypeError: this.setPlugin is not a function
/plugins/fabrik_element/textarea/textarea-min.js:2

So I tried unpublishing the Textarea on the page and then the calc works.

It does work if you submit, but you can't see the preview on without the calc working. Ideas on how to fix?

Also, to note, in the Joomla upgrade section that I updated Fabrik with, one item wouldn't update:

fabrik Update Component 3.4.2 http://fabrikar.com/update/fabrik31/com_fabrik.xml

But, in the Joomla Manage section it says Fabrik is now 3.4.2

This is a live site, so I need to get this fix asap. Thanks!

It's essential to update the component.
Possible ways:
- try again with the Joomla updater (first go to /Manager, search for Fabrik, select all and "Refresh cache", then /Update "Clear cache","Find Updates")
- or download and install Fabrik3.4.2
- or do a GitHub update

Sounds like the main component didn't update properly. And that's where setPlugin() was added. So non-core plugins that updated would fail.

So yeah, I'd advise doing a full github update. After backing up.
