Solved Filter options for dropdown element

Hi there!

When I activate the filtering for a dropdown field and set the filter to dropdown, the selection "All" does not show. It seems the filter just takes the first option in the dropdown and filters on that. So you can't see the whole unfiltered list.

Correction: <
It does not automatically filter for the first item. Once you select another item it filter correctly. But you can't go back and not filter by this item (by setting it to all). And when resetting the whole filter, this element will remain on the last filter set.


Any suggestions?

I can't replicate, it's showing "All" as expected here.

Any special settings? e.g. Eval populate...

No, nothing of that sort. Just a front-ent addition option and a validation. When I turn them off, there is no change. I'll keep on searching, thanks for the confirmation.

Fount a fix/workaround: I switched the plugin type to field, saved, then switched back to dropdown. had to rebuild the dropdown labels/values, but now the "All" option is shown in the filter.

Is this an updated F3 site or so?

No, a F4 fresh install started with 4.0 and was subsequently updated. However, the provider did some MySQL updates in this period too.

Hi, Seems like there’s an issue with the ‘All’ filter, and using ‘Clear Filter’ doesn’t seem to resolve it.
