Get Client Computer Name

I know this may not be relavant here but i am just curious if anyone of you actually able to do this with php or javascript

In the past my we have fixed ip so no issue but now we had switch to dynamic ip so i cannot really use client ip to log the event of activity

Had been searching Google to get the client computer name but no result so far.

Appreciate anyone with this knowledge can share , thank you in advance

It would be a major security flaw if it could be easily done. And if it could, I've seen a case where several PC-s in one department had the same name like departmentname-pc.

So logging users in with account credentials or using some API-style key in url would probably be the only reasonable way to reliably identify users.
