List copy plugin - duplicate entry error

I have 2 lists with the list copy plugin enabled.
List A allows rows to be copied and the id of the copied item gets incremented
List B which is pretty much identical does not work when the copy icon is clicked and results in a 1062 duplicate entry error on the id :
An error has occurred.
1062 Duplicate entry '3' for key 'PRIMARY'

I cant work out why its doing that!

Is your list B primary key (usually id element, integer) set to autoincrement (check in List settings [Data])?
