Make date plugin read-only

Hello

I'm using Joomla 3.8.5 with fabrik version 3.8 updated by Github, my server has PHP version 7.0

I inserted a date field into my form, setting the "Allow typing field" option to no, but it continues to allow user editing.

When you click the field, it still displays the selection calendar.

How can I fix it?

Hi

You have to change the edit rights. If you want it read only you can make a new access level called 'Nobody' and leave it empty (no groups assigned).
Then go to the your element settings and change the edit to Nobody.
This was nobody can edit the date.

Allow typing is not the same as read-only - all it does is force the user to select from the popup calendar rather than typing the date.

@dimoss' suggestion is the way to go.
