Pre-Filter in Relationship Form (SubForm)

Hi,

I have a list for entries and exits records, related to the list of clients.

I just want to show the records that do not have the "Delivered" status.

I have a menu that directly accesses the list of all records (entries / exits) of all clients. Here the pre-filter is working:
- Pre-Filter Setting: http://prntscr.com/lj94th
- All Records Menu: http://prntscr.com/lj951y

However, when I access the customer card, and go to the register tab, the pre-filter is not applied, appearing the "Delivered" and "Not Delivered" records: http://prntscr.com/lj95lr

How can I make sure that the pre-filter is also applied to the related form?

Hello, can anyone help me in this situation?

I can't really tell what your setup is from those images. You don't really explain "However, when I access the customer card, and go to the register tab" ... how is the "registered" tab related to the other list?

Hi Cheesegrits,

Thanks for the answer!

I have a list for entries and exits records, related to the list of clients. This list has a pre-filter in the "Status" field, to show only the records with the "To Return" status.
If you call this list through a menu, the pre-filter is applied, and only shows the records with the "To Return" state.

This list "entries and exits" is related to the list of Customers and Boxes. And when I enter the form of boxes or clients, and go to the tab of the registers "entries and exits", the pre-filter is not done and shows both records (Returned and To Return).

That is, the pre-filter of the list "entries and exits" works if you call the list in a menu. But when I access the "Customers and Boxes" form, the pre-filter is not applied.

This list "entries and exits" is related to the list of Customers and Boxes

By "related" you mean with a list join?

If so, then no, pre-filters set on one list ("List A") will not apply to another list ("List B") via a list join from B to A. List pre-filters only apply to the list they are set on.

You would have to add a pre-filter to List B that does essentially the same thing as the pre-filter on List A.

Hi Cheesegrits,

Many thanks for the reply! That's what I wanted to do :)

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
