Is it possible to get the column sum of a calculated field?

Not sure what you mean?
Are you talking about using a list calculation on a field (in which case yes, the Sum calculation should do that). Or are you talking about using a list calculation on a 'calc' element?

It was a calc field for which the sum doesn't work. We will use a MYSQL view to solve the problem.

The usual reason for calculation issues on a calc element is if you added the calc element to a form with existing data, so the column for the calc has no data in it.
But a MySQL view is often a better way to go for this kind of thing, anyway. We didn't really design the calc element with list calculations in mind, and there are several lurking issues with doing that.
