Changing module list prefilter destroys list prefilter

Hi all,

I thought it strange when clients started complaining that lists dont work, as I only changed the list module prefilter.

I then discovered that when I change the list module prefilter, it also changes the original list prefilter.

This must be a bug, as I cant see why anyone would want this. It only does this when module list prefilter is changed, not the other way around.

I can't replicate.
What is your exact setup?

Do you mean after editing the module prefilter the list prefilter settings (in the DB!) are overridden? (There was an issue in Fabrik3.0...)

Or the module prefilter is overriding the list prefilter during list display? (Which is the expected behaviour)

Just to summarize this one (as a lot of posts got lost due to server crash), we've identified one instance in which this might happen, to do with code that was checking to see if the list is built on a MySQL and view. We've resolved that, so the code no longer writes out the list params if 'isview' is not already set.

But, it looks like this may not have solved the problem.

Waiting for some feedback from OP.

Hi Hugh, I installed a new update to test your changes, but it broke my site due to this error...... perhaps the fix was never comitted
