Creating lists with pre-exisiting joomla tables

Im a health and safety professional, and I am in the middle of working on a site to help me track accidents, incidents, records, and so on.

One thing I was thinking about was creating a joomla profile for each employee. In their profile, their training records would be tied to their account.

Is there anyway I can pull the data from their profile and access it by using the filters seen on the fabrik lists?

Yes. The easiest way to get Joomla profile information like ID, name, user name, email, etc. is by using the user element.

Im using custom fields through community builders. Adding stuff like specific training on various equipment, contact information, emergency contact, etc...

I want to be able to generate lists based on queries of certain training. Example:

I want to search for all employees with WHMIS training. It would then display all users.

If i could also add expiry dates to training, that would be EPIC! but ill take what I can get

For that I think you could use the dbjoin element or join your Fabrik lists to the CB tables but I will need to defer to others more experienced in those area, sorry.

ive been playing with the dbjoin but havent had any luck accomplishing this.
