data merge query - can I have different for Form and List views?

Hi - I have come across a further issue with using the slideshow by putting
{fabrik view=visualization id=1 hoteltablename___id=[rowid]}
in the intro area of my form...

I have a LEFT JOIN set from my main Hotel list to my Slideshow images list - in order for the slideshow to display correctly I have to have it set to "Each row separately" but this means that in my Hotel list I am getting many duplicates listed of each Hotel that has a slideshow setup.

How can I have "Each row separately" set for just the form/detail view and "Merge data" for the list view?

Strange setup anyway, but as long as it's working...
I think you have to copy your list.
Then you can set "merge rows" and use one list in form/viz and the other in list view.
