How to use Sobipro category and its entries for cascading dropdown

I have sobipro and fabrik installtion on the same joomla web site.
there are categories in sobipro which are the names of states.
then there are subcategories, which are cities under the respective states.
I want that when someone selects a state, then the city, then the entries of sobiro under that sub category should show up.

Is it possible. If yes, How?

Usually it's better to have such states/cities in different nomalized tables. But it should be possible.

Create a Fabrik list pointing to your sobipro table.
Create a dbjoin with VALUE and label = state (you can't use id[recommended] with your setup)
Create a cascading dropdown watching the dbjoin.
