Validation failed for fileupload in joined lists

Hello,

Using latest Github version, the notempty validation failed for the fileupload element when lists are joined.

how to test this: add the "notempty" validation for a fileupload element which should be into a joined list, then try to upload a file (doesn't matter the file size, the file type etc).

Thank you

Actually, no, not confirmed. It was another (AJAX upload) element on my "Upload Torture Test" form which was failing a not empty validation.

The simple upload I have in a rrepeated join group works as expected with a 'notempty' validation. It only fails when there is no existing file already uploaded, and no new file is chosen for upload.

Is your join repeated?

Can you tell which "way" the join goes?

In your list join, are you joining from an FK (foreign key) on the main table to the PK (Primary Key) on the child table (the one with the upload), or from an FK on the child to the PK on the parent.

If you aren't sure, post a screenshot of your join settings.

I created a new form, test it here, same problem

See attached files for join and element settings.

Thank you
