Display information from the database?

Hello,

I ve made some elements add them to groups and i display and edit them in a form, everything works fine.
Now i want a extra group where i can display a calender with all the birthdates that are in the database, it only have to be displayed. I cant find how i display information out of the database.
Please help me.
