Dropdown filter not rendering as dropdown

I'm pretty sure there's a conflict somewhere but I don't know how to diagnose it or what type it might be - JS, JQuery, Bootstrap? Any help is appreciated in diagnosing this.

I'm using a RocketTheme template with a site running a ton of components including CB Subs and DT Register. The site has been upgraded from 1. to 2.5 and most recently to 3.4 in 2015. I've also just updated everything on the site to the latest (J3.5.1, etc.) and used github to update Fabrik (3.4.3).

The backend list display is perfect; the front end's filter is rendering as a list, not a dropdown as it does perfectly on the backend. I change the template (menu option: Fabrik List Options) to DIVs and the same issue occurs but the list now has little circles instead of nothing.

I have Fabrik running fine on a Helix3 site so I'm pretty certain, as stated, that this is a RT conflict. I've posted to their forums also to ask for help but I was hoping someone here might have seen this before and can point me to a solution or something to try.

I will post a screenshot.

Many thanks in advance,
Mark

Fabrik needs a Joomla bootstrap template (bootstrap2 like Protostar, bootstrap3 with overrides https://github.com/Fabrik/bootstrap3-jlayouts)

r. The site has been upgraded from 1. to 2.5 and most recently to 3.4 in 2015.
Also including Fabrik?
The old Fabrik versions can't be just "updated", you have to migrate
Since Fabrik3.1 you have to use the Fabrik bootstrap (or div) list template (bootstrap or bootstrap_tabs form template).
You screenshot is looking like an old Fabrik "default" list template.

Thank you for your quick reply.

Apparently, the Rocket Theme theme chosen by this org is not bootstrap. I am not sure how to proceed from here but I would love to be able to use Fabrik to solve some of the org's requests for custom forms/uploads. Any thoughts on how to render the list properly? I am quite new to Fabrik so forgive my noob questions.

Fabrik is new to this installation - it wasn't installed before. I just provided the information for historical purposes. Everything is from the latest iteration of Fabrik and I did an update via github last night just to be safe.

I tried the overrides (https://github.com/Fabrik/Fabrik-Joomla-alt-layouts) with no change.

Any other thoughts or suggestions?

Thank you for your time,
Mark
