How to delay triggering the autofill plugin?

Hello,

I have the following situation: a (second) cdd element with many options available in list (over 40). i use the autofill plugin to fill the information in form.

What i need is to trigger the plugin only when i select desired option from this cdd element. I have selected this element as "Trigger" in the tab "Option", but as soon as i selected a option, the plugin is launched and i cannot select any other option.

If i don't use the option "Trigger", i will always get the message "performing search" displayed in form too often and unfortunately (in my case),take too long to load the information.

Not sure I follow, as from your description it seems to be behaving as expected. Can you post the url to the form please? thx

Hello,

I cannot provide a link (company intranet). Actually, it doesn't behave as i expected (it does work fine, but i need more). For example, if i want to select the last option from list, i cannot, because the plugin will be triggered as soon as i click on element.
