Memory error when enabling "merge rows" for Joins

When I change the display mode for the Joins from "each row seperately" to "merge rows" I run out of memory and get:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2 bytes) in libraries/joomla/database/driver/mysqli.php on line 806

In the backend when I go to "view data" I get the same.

The list is "Pati?nt behandelplan". I think it's running an infinite loop somewhere but don't know where to look.

Did you try to increase your php memory limit?
128MB is not so much (depending on the size of "behandelplan").
