Reducing data in DB Join

Folks

I have a dbjoin connected to a table that hold countries, counties and towns etc. When I view the dbjoin it loads repeated rows of countries - See here for a video http://screencast.com/t/3lN4P7OGIsM

How can I reduce it down so it only loads one row per country?

Not sure whether you are still seeking an answer to this one but ...

Suppose you could do this (and make the DbJoin Label unique), then you would have every record with the same country have the same dbjoin Value which would also point to a specific town.

So really, you need to have a country table and a county table and a town table, where the county table has a foreign key to the country_id and the town table has a foreign key to the county_id.

If you don't want lots of little tables, you can have a single table for all lookups and have field indicating whether it is a town, county or country.

P.S. I am not getting into any discussion about whether Wales is a separate country to England or whether these are provinces of a single country, the United Kingdom. ;-)
