if i upgrading to latest version.. what will happen to the previous form i'd created? how to do the backup? which file to be bak up?

installing via the Joomla installer will keep all your forms/tables/elements intact - it simply updates the files that fabrik uses.
Before upgrading its always best to back up these folders:
components/com_fabrik
language/en-GB
administrator/components/com_fabrik
administrator/language/en-GB
media/com_fabrik
