calendar popup when clicking on date field

Probably something im doing wrong but in F2 I could click on the date field box aswell as the icon to show calendar when 'Allow typing in field' is set to no.

Doesn't seem to work on F3?
Any pointers?

Hmmm. I fixed what I thought was going to be the answer, which is that we weren't casting the 'typing' option we pass in to the date.js to boolean, so the JS never ran the code which is supposed to do that.

But ... even after that, the code which is supposed to do the event delegation (or whatever) and fire the calendar off ... doesn't. For reason I am entirely unsure of.

Thanks rob, confirmed fixed, but I think theres another issue with the date element for you to check out...

When using ajax validation in form processing....

Date isn't saved to database
Can only set date if its the 1st element to be entered. (if any other elements are entered/validated date cannot be selected)
