Double message in validation tooltips

Hi,

I just saw something weirdk..
Let's say we have an element which have 2 php validation erros. When you put the mouse over the asterisk you get the same message twice.

See attached image.

BTW it would be nice to have custom tootips per validation..

Which fabrik version You are using. I don't see that problem in my setup.

You can have the custom tooltip. See example in the attached snapshot.

I don't say about the custom error tooltips.

I mean tooltips per validatidation.

Ok. I don't see an option for custom tooltip for validation.
But I think you can use the simple tooltip for custom message from the publishing-tab till that option is available.

I think his point is that we automatically include the validation tooltips, regardless of the element tooltip, and in many cases the validation tip is really not much help, like on a custom PHP validation.

We do have plans to add custom tooltip popup text for validations, hopefully soon.

BTW, I've confirmed the doubling up of tooltips. But I'm going to punt on doing anything about it just yet, as it's code which would have to be changed (or just removed) when we implement per-validation tooltips, as obviously you'd then you'd probably actually WANT to double them up, as your two PHP validations would be doing different things.
