or an other means to display a pdf file

but i have problem with to display a mp3 files in a table
i select the option "show media in the form" without success

erm - are you displaying a pdf or an mp3 in a list or a form, your answer leaves me thinking it could be any combination of those

sorry but can you be more clear in what you are doing, giving FULL information about it - e.g post a url to the list, a screen shot of your element settings etc.
It may take you a bit more time at the beginning but you'll get a more accurate response from us.

I just tested my "multimedia" test list / form, which I use for testing things like MP3's and videos, it works fine for me.

As Rob says, we'll need to see the page to see what's going on, and a screenshot of your element settings would help.
