Editing the Custom Joomla Registration Form

Hello,

I have a custom Joomla Registration form that works well, thanks to everyone who helped.

I would like the user to be able to edit his own profile. The problem is that only the core Joomla fields are available for editing and none of the custom fields are visible.

Can you please tell me how I can make all the fields in the entire custom Registration form available for the user to edit.

Without knowing how you designed and built your custom form, it's hard to say.

Can you point me at the thread where we advised you on how to build it?

In general, the way to allow editing is to create a J! menu item pointing to your custom form (the one with the juser plugin on it), set rowid=-1, and 'use key' to the short element name of the user element on that form (the one you use in the juser plugin as the User ID field).
