For running J!5.1 you must https://fabrikar.com/forums/index.php?wiki/update-from-github/ or include the new file manually https://fabrikar.com/forums/index.php?threads/joomla-5-1-and-fabrik-cannot-find-files-error.54473/post-285151 See also Announcements
https://ibb.co/ZcvQpFGand seems like the exported csv from fabrik is not well done, i see datas like doubled, each field is repeated twice
http://fabrikar.com/forums/index.php?wiki/export-to-csv-customizing/hello, i am using now the export in csv. But i see it can be problkematic to conmvert it to a normal xls files. And this is a must for me as it is theonly way i have to manage data. So i ask if there is a way to export data to xls or some other workaround. Thanks
it seems like this extension is not free, right?seems nice but i want something free! For more/easier customization options I have successfully used jdbExport Joomla plugin: https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/core-enhancements/data-reports/jdbexport/
And added the link to the Excel export url to my list template button row.
it seems quite complicated. My problem with csv is that Excel fro some reason will lknly accept a configuration that will pu all "" to datas. May if no " are in the csv it will work better
where do i find these options?https://ibb.co/ZcvQpFG
set Include raw data to no
I have set the EXCEL option but i still have a csv file, any idea?in list settings, Publishing/Csv.
There's also an Excel-csv option.
You may have to play with the file coding ( because excel still has issues with just utf8)

i know what you mean.,And i agree, but i still have some time to dedicate to work fo a free option!Yes, its not free, but I've relized in last years that all the good things should not always be free The time (money) I saved with this extension vs some other solution makes up the small fee several times.

@juuser Sorry to open this old thread but seems a very good option and I would appreciate to know better about it.
Can you explain how u managed to integrate this extension in the fabrik lists?
No problem ! In this extension you can create export templates for Fabrik lists by adding a mysql query in template settings. So basically "SELECT * FROM myfabriktable" will export the whole myfabriktable. Of course you can use any query with join to other tables etc.
And then I created a button to that xls template in the list header. I have more advanced method, but adding a link in list Intro would do.
So if you can handle writing basic sql queries, this extension works well.
In addition to just exporting, you can customize exported file font style/size, background colors etc. and apply the styling e.g for just to heading. So it's really customizable.
PS. I didn't need it to consider Fabrik list filters. I used it just to export all the rows from a table. If you need it to export only filtered rows, it needs some investigation.
