fileupload element not working

Hi,
Whenever I choose the fileupload element as a new element, the bottom half of the screen does not appear. It appears for every other type of element where it says "Renders an ...".
I have Joomla 3.4.8 and Fabrik 3.4.1 so all updated.

Any ideas??

Maybe a JS error.
Did you try to clear Joomla and browser cache?

I tried both on Firefox and Safari so its not the browser cache. I also tried clearing the Joomla cache. Could be JS, I havent tried it from a different computer (Windows/Linux). I'll try from a different computer and see.

Sounds like the AJAX call to load the settings is failing.

Try opening either Firebug or Chrome Developer Tools, and see if a JS error occurs when you select the element type. If the error is something about an "invalid character <", look at the Network tab, where the last thing in the list should be the AJAX call that loads the element. Look at the 'response', and see if there is a PHP warning or error being thrown.
