GoogleMap Visualization

I've got a google map looking at a db list and the visualization isn't picking up the coordinates out of the db and plotting them, the column name for the googlemap element is "googlemap" I thought it might just be that the viz plugin may not be able to find the column but I cannot find any mention of what the viz plugin is looking for in specific.

coordinates code as follows: "(42.34952, -83.33252240000002):10"

The field plugin works admirably but I get bupkiss when rendering the map.

I think I have answered this question already yesterday: the column name doesn't matter. the Fabrik element must be a 'googlemap' element ( plugin/ type) not 'field'

So with that being said,

The element is googlemap element/plugin, coords are recorded in its column. The coords are not plotted.

so, just as something to try I made the column visible in the list, and low and behold they show up on the map now....

This will do!

the googlemap element must be published but it shouldn't matter if it's set to show in list view or not...
But glad you got it working.
