How to create a fabrik plugin?

Hey there,

while reading the forums I saw several posts relating version control of fabrik content but it seems as if there is no plugin around for that.

Could someone give me a guideline on how to create a fabrik plugin? Or is there a 'how to' around, that I've just not found jet?

What kind of plugin are you looking to create?

I need some sort of version control. Basicly, if a data set is changed, the old version should be stored in an archive-database.
