I cannot lock all fields for users after final submit.

Would like to add a button, which will perform a final submit and and lock the fields so that the users cannot change anything after the final submit.

I dont have any idea how to achive this function, it is very crucial for me. If i upgrade to professional support will they help me?

Edit and add permissions are set separately in each list's access permissions, so you can do want you want using the Joomla ACL.

Yup, the canEditRow plugin would be the way to go.

Have something like a 'yesno' element on the form for 'final submission'.

In the canEditRow settings, select that element, 'use raw' yes, 'equals', 0.

You would probably also want to create a new J! Access Level, something like "Not Admins", which has Registered and Guests in it, and set that as the Access Level for the canEditRow plugin. That way, it won't apply to admins, so they can get in and reset the 'final submission'.
