New Commercial Services Section
We have now opened a commercial services section here on the forum for registered users. If you have a Fabrik project that you wish to have someone work on for you, post it under Help Wanted. If you are an application developer and wish to earn some money helping others, post your details under Fabrik Application Developers.
Both of these are unmoderated. It will be up to both parties to work out the details and come to an agreement.

Is it necessary to create a list or table for a form?

If you want the collected data to be stored in the database you should start with creating a list (table in Fabrik2).
You can also start directly with creating a form.
Default setting is "Record in database"=yes, this will create automatically a fabrik list and a database table with the same name as your form.
If you want something like a search form or a contact form only sending an email without storing the data set "Record in database"=NO.
Then you won't get a fabrik list.
