Javascript for autofill button

Hi :)
I'm slowly coming to terms with Fabrik, upgrading our old j2.5 website to j3.4.8. I am putting together the site's enquiry form, but am currently stumped due to my lack of javascript knowledge.

In the form, I'm using autofill to pull in some fees for our trekking programmes. These are then used as part of a calc to find the price for the individual group booking. At the moment the autofills are triggered by a change to the trek dropdown, but it would be preferable if I could have a lookup button instead.

In the autofill element help, it mentions to use javascript to trigger the lookup(s), but I have no clue what to select in the javascript area of the button plugin to make it work.

Does anyone have an example of this that you can pop into this thread please?

Thanks :)

Not sure what you mean by the "autofill element".

It should just work if you create a button element, and tell the autofill plugin to use that as the trigger.

Oh. That was too easy. I was all hyperventilating about the javascript option...

Thanks :)

ps. I meant plugin, not element... obviously the brown paper bag breathing exercise hadn't kicked in at that point.

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
