Notes element problem

I use the notes element. This works fine but .. I only want registered users to add notes. I tried parameters in the notes element: Form(add) and Form(edit) to registered, special and superusers. Details view and list view to public. I expect that a not registered user is unable to add a note. However the add button is on the form. Next I set the Acces parameters on the Notes list Viewlist and view records to public. For the other er parameters I tested with registered, special and superusers. Now I expect again that a not registered user is unable to add a note. However the add button is still on the form.
What do I wrong?
Note: I am testing on localhost.

OK, should be fixed as of this commit:

You'll need to do a full github update.

I've added a check for 'can use' on the element for showing the Add. Also moved the creation of the notes themselves into their own layout, and fixed some issues with the gridding.

For my understanding. I am new to github.
I must download the file github.com/Fabrik/fabrik.git. Unzip and copy to the folders on my site?
