Overriding layout of a repeat group

I have a repeat group for which I'd like to customize the layout. By default it's showing in an unordered list and I'd like it to be in divs.

The code that's controlling the layout is in com_fabrik/models/element.php, line 6236.

Is there any way to override this? If so, where would I put the override files?

I assume you are speaking of list rendering?
There's a layout file ...components\com_fabrik\layouts\element\fabrik-element-elementlist-details.php you can override.

Thanks @troester! I'm sorry, I should have been more specific. Yes, I was referring to list rendering.

I tried the fabrik-element-elementlist-details.php override, but it didn't seem to have an effect on my list. I put the override file in "templates/mytemplate/html/com_fabrik/layouts/element/". I tested it by just changing the existing class on the unordered list tag, but it didn't change on my list.

Any thoughts?

I think that's the wrong location. Try ...

templates/mytemplate/html/layouts/com_fabrik/element/

Thanks for the help. I still couldn't get the override to work. I had it in the correct place, just mis-typed the path when writing my post.

However, I figured out a way around it for my needs.

Just thought I'd follow up and not leave this hanging

Hmm, strange, I actually tested it before my last post, and it works for me.
