I paid the subscription bronze
for the cascading dropdown plugin 2.5
Instead the pug-in is 1.5

You can't use fabrik2 plugins in fabrik3.

For the next release, (or maybe the next one after that), the individual zip files will be downloadable. For now though it has to be Github.

I'm hoping to get the ZIP's included in the next release. Which has been pushed back a week or so, as Rob is at the Olympics, competing in the 4 * 400 Syncronized PHP Coding Relay event.

Our 3.x build script does actually generate the individual ZIP's, we just have to finish off the code to push them up to the server, and twiddle the 'downloads' table. Which we have the code for from the 2.x build script, it just needs some refactoring.
