Return ajax calc with repeat fields

Hi guys, before I purchase a support account (again), can anyone tell my how to return an AJAX calc integer to the DB intact? The actual AJAXed changes are working fine in the form, with the repeat elements totaling as they should, but on "Save" the repeat fields are ignored. I've been reading and experimenting with the PHP plugin using StartofFormSubmission, looking to get the Raw calc element data and post it to the DB, but no go. I'm presuming it has something to do with the calc element being in an array and needing some sort of massaging? (I'm not great at this stuff). OR what support level would I purchase for some Fabrik genuis to leap in and fix it? Using latest Fabrik 3.9, Joomla 3.812, and PHP 5.6.
