I'm trying to move my really sophisticated personal website (based on Joomla 2.5.x) to a new one based on Joomla 3.x. This requires a complete re-do of it's structure because I have to change the CCK, too. Fabrik is looking really promising. But sometimes I'm lost...
Currently I'm trying try to find out how to use the form - article - plugin. To make things easier I set up a test configuration. Created a new list with just three additional fields (ref, field1, field2). Then I activated the forms article plugin and set it up like this:
Reference element = ref
fields -> title = field1
fields -> Meta desc = field2
Creating a new article or editing is no problem. But the article doesn't get a title and meta description as I did expect. What I'm doing wrong? Otherwise the values are stored in my jos_test table.
If I change fields -> title = field1 to fields -> title = id the id is used as the article's title. But that's all I could get out of this.
All the testing is done with XAMPP on Windows 7, Joomla 3.4.1 and Fabrik 3.3.2
Any kind of help is highly appreciated.
