Use of tags element in List-plugin"inline-edit" not intended to add tags?

Hi,
I added the Tag element after I used mij tables 'Recipes' and "GardenLog" for a while. The tag element for 'Recipes' points to "preserving methods" and it works fine in the form view.

Now I need to to add preserving methods to over 100 recipes in my backlog. My idea is to do this using the list plugin inline-edit.
Maybe what I did was not intended to be supported ?
Selecting more than 1 preserving method in the list view it only returns one method and not always one of the selected. It should save much time to use a stable multiselect in the inline edit plugin as I see much more cases I could implement a tags element afterwards in my apps next in my garden log.

Inline edit is deprecated, working for simple elements in simple groups, there are issues with more complex stuff.

Thanks. I will not use it anymore in complex list. My tags even disapeared when I changed other fields. So I create a workaround for my backlog. I make a tmplist and tmpform for the quick changes.
