What happened to the SQL plugin?

Hello,

I would like to create a statistics table and I thought that the SQL plugin would be just right for my needs (I'm not very good in PHP programming). I would like to display how many entries there are in a certain category, how many entries since a specific date, how many entries with a 5 star rating, etc. Unfortunately there is only a Joomla 1.5 version of the plugin in the download area and I couldn't find it either on Github. Do you plan any updates in the near future?

We don't have any plans to re-implement that as the PHP plugins cover the same ground - we have a primer on PHP related to Fabrik/joomla in the wiki, with several sql examples.
