No, I don't think so.
You could configure the form format to not include the day, so selecting any day in a month would just input Y-m (or whatever), but I can't think of a way of making it dual function, so it'll sometimes accept without a day and sometimes not.
You could use the "birthday" element, but that is of limited use if you want to do any date handling elsewhere, as it stores the data in a proprietary JSON format, not as a datetime field.
