Confirmation form plugin strangeness with Re-edit

Unfortunately this was the main problem. For some very strange reason many people assume that such a thing should be free to use. I cannot image where this assumption could come from as developers have spent hundreds of hours their valuable time to develop and maintain the project. Many people were not willing to pay even as reasonable fee as $60 per month and were trying to "pull" answers from community forums. And even those who paid, assumed that Fabrik support will build the whole app/custom code for them for a monthly fee that is not even a hour cost for a developer in US. So there was not any other way how this could have turned out.
As you also know, experts putting time and effort into it couldn't do it for free as they need to pay for their food as well.

As you know, Fabrik is totally free of charge and provided "as is", with only seldom feature updates and support from the community only.

[I've slightly edited the following question:]
Would you be ready and want to pay for Fabrik to be maintained better, and eventually also more than just $10 or $20 per month?

Several years ago when we chose Fabrik as our form builder of choice and based a significant amount of our website system on it, one of the deciding factors was that they offered a subscription service. This was important to us as it indicated that the software would likely be more sustainable and dependable. We purchased a subscription for each of our websites that used Fabrik in an effort to support their work as much as possible. We were of course anxious when the subscription model was abandoned and our fears that Fabrik would become less dependable have been validated over time. Would we pay for Fabrik? YES!!! If it meant that the software would be properly maintained and updated, we would pay whatever they required. When the subscription service was removed, it was explained to us that the time needed to provide timely support for subscribers was not profitable, that they were spending far too much time responding to support questions which was taking time away from software updating and improvements. We suggested that they keep the subscription model and simply remove the guaranteed support element from the subscription, making a subscription simply a way to have access to software updates. But that suggestion disappeared into a black hole...

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
