Cron email condition not replacing placeholder

Like the title says, when running an email cron plugin the tooltip says I can use placeholders in the condition field, but when inserting data in a table using the placeholder it inserts the placeholder itself.

OK, I found out that it only doesn't work when using a copy of the main list I set up with extra prefilters. It does work when I use the original list and filter the prefilter conditions in my condition field.
