SOLVED: CSV export problem on menu filtered list

Hi,

It seems that CSV exports all the values in lists where the pre-filtering has been added to Menu/Fabrik List Options /Pre-filters ignoring these pre-filters.

I can't replicate.
Menu prefilters are applied correctly in the exported CSV on my site.

Which exact Fabrik version?
Any other settings which may be related (list prefilters ...)?

Hi Troester,

It's F3.6 (Github 26/4/2017).
Nothing special in list prefiltering.
Only menu prefiltering.

It seems that the problem remains.
The following list has a menu pre-filter and the export should return only the visible records

However it returns all the records that exists on the db table.

Strange, it's working on my site.

What is your setting in the list Pre-filters tab (Overriden by menu/modules = Yes or no)?
What are your CSV settings?
Is your menu prefilter with AND or OR?

Hi Troester

As you can see in the link above it doesnt work.
There are no prefilters in the list. The setting overriden by menu is set to Yes.
Menu prefilter is with AND but I tried with OR without success.
CSV settings: include filters YES, visible elements, csv file, front end options NO

Are you running a recent github? I recently (ish ... in Aiugust) fixed an issue with the itemid getting added to the CSV export link:

https://github.com/Fabrik/fabrik/commit/a0a53b5950c3899be295e68d600e90ac82476e51

So my best guess is that you don't have that fix, and it isn't adding the Itemid to the CSV expoert link, so the export doesn't know there's menu item filters.

PS ... I just tested here, and like Troester, I can't replicate the problem. The CSV export correctly finds and applies the menu prefilters.

Hi Hugh,

In my production website I use Github from Dec. 2017.
As it is very strange to me I installed a demo case on a brand new website for testing only with latest Github but again I have the same problem.

Here is the list with menu prefiltered:
http://demo.alfaweb.gr/index.php?option=com_fabrik&view=list&listid=2&Itemid=111

Here is the same list with no prefilters:
http://demo.alfaweb.gr/index.php?option=com_fabrik&view=list&listid=2&Itemid=112

With the menu prefilter returns 3 records as it should be and with no prefilters returns 6 records.
However in both cases the csv exports 6 records!

Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Hugh,

Sorry but the first link has 3 and the second link has 6 rows.
Tested on 2 different browsers
First link is pre-filtered. Second no.

I was looking on my phone from Tapatalk, and for some reason the &'s got turned into &amp, which punted me to the home page for both links, which has the unfiltered list on it.

Anyway, following the Skype session ... fix is:

Seems like the j! router introduced in 3.7 now only accepts an Itemid on the query string, not in post data.
