Data not being saved to database.

Hello,

I have recently installed the fabrik form 3.0.5.2 All seems OK except data is not being written to database. Database records are created but with NULL values in the element fields.

Any ideas?

Did you test with default fabrik created list/elements or did you modify your elements "Editable" access settings?

Hi,

I have checked on Cpanel and when I check and click all the fabrik pulgins followed by update, there are no updates to be made so I assume from that that the code is the latest. Actually I have only very recently loaded the component. The plugin version as shown by Cpanel plugin manager is 3.0.5.2 on all the elements.

Regarding your question, I have not done anything special with the elements. Just created them using standard stuff.

I confirm that the database table is being created and so is the Id. It increments correctly. The date field (which was there already) and two other fields, that I created, all show NULL values.

cPanel or Joomla update won't see GitHub versions, so update from GitHub

Check your elements access settings: The user who wants to create a record must have write access to all elements which he should be able to fill (so it must be "Public" if non logged in users are creating records)

Yes, I just this minute noticed that, it's because of the three new forums, they need to be assigned the popups manually. I'll see if I can do that, if not then it will be uncle Hugh.
