Hello.
I want to develop my first application web with Joomla and Fabrik. I have seleted the beez3 template. Is it necessary than I choose the definitive template already or I can start develop and I can change it later? Can you recomend me a responsive template?
Thanks

Usually there is no problem to change the Joomla template later although it might create some minor changes also to Fabrik views like heading style, table paddings etc.

As I know, Fabrik developers use mainly Gantry based templates to create / develop their solutions. I have successfully used also Helix based templates quite a lot.

A Joomla template that supports the Joomla bootstrap framework (BS2 in Feb 2018)
The bootstrap template coming with Joomla is "Protostar". You can use Joomla's Beez3 template if you add com_fabrik to the "Components Requiring Bootstrap" in Beez3 "Advanced" tab.

If you want to use a BS3 or uikit template try https://github.com/Fabrik/Fabrik-Joomla-alt-layouts

Thank you!!. I am new in Joomla, Fabrik, BS, CSS... I have discovered that Fabrik is worderful but I lack the knowledge to get the most out of it. I will try to learn little by little.

This post and the mention of Bootstrap triggered a question.
As Joomla! 4 will eventually arrive, many extensions seem to need updating.

I read in Joomla! Docs that, "Joomla! 4.0 ships with Bootstrap 4. Bootstrap 2.3.2 has been removed, however we have left some BS2 classes in to ease the migration (e.g. The old BS2 element-invisible still exists for screenreaders)".

My question is, will Fabrik be affected specifically by the above and more generally, is Fabrik going to work well on Joomla! 4 websites? Apologies if I have missed a thread somewhere, but I searched and have so far found nothing on this subject.

Last week an announcement re Fabrik and J! 4 (and J! 3.10) has been made: https://fabrikar.com/forums/index.php?threads/fabrik-4-joomla-4-plans.52211/
However, with this thread here being about Fabrik 3.9.x and J! 3.9.x, anything "4" should probably be separate discussions (like for example here).
