well, if there is any action at all present. when you save, if you go back to the element, you are not able to save, or save and close.. you can close.. however.. this is with commit 9d761b220f466e57f19f30f95644716b46441624
I am not sure if there was a fix with this in a more recent commit.
I need these jsactions so I can remove and apply some default text to my search fields.. with out using lables!

I think we had already dealt with that issue.
I did see a small js error produced when the js action text area lost focus, I've fixed that but even before that fix I could save/re-edit elements and save again:
