Link to file problem

in link element, I want it goto file in my hdd.
At brower I use "file://///MYNET/books/book name/" and it will show list of books in that folder
but when I put this in link element.
Fabrik add Http:// in front of it.
how to solve this. please help

Can you explain why you are going to a file on your personal computer? It's designed to retrieve a file from a server, not your computer.
