Mysql appropiate language to avoid ´

Hello,

I'm using joomla and fabrik to create some databases..

The trouble is: in Spanish language, we use accents in the words...

So when i save a word with accent, for example .. camión.. the database save as : cami&0acute;n

the trouble is.. if i want to copy to other database the element saved.. appears cami&oactue;n and not camión

i have see that in the table, the comparison language is "utf8_general_ci" it is the default language when a create a table in the database in my server..

So any idea which language i should use in the tables to allow the use of accents ??? and when i'll save and copy elements the word will not change using the ´

there are more than 100 languages in the table.. i have try 4-5 but everything is equal.

thanks in advance!

Javier

I can't replicate. ó ist stored as ó (HEX c3b3) in the database.
Which Fabrik element type are you using, what are you doing if you "want to copy"?
What are the type and collation of your table column in the database?

the user fill a form, and the admin --> must to validate if the datas are correct.. so i copy the user datas .. to the admin form...

the element type usually is a field type but not always..

the element collation is utf8_general_ci and database too..

i have been reading other post and speaking with the server people and they told me than we should try with

element collation as utf8_spanish_ci and database collation as utf_unicode_ci

lets see if is working..

thanks
